Product — printing and packaging
Lamination & Finishing printing, Kolkata
Finishing decides whether a printed tag survives handling, shipping and the retail shelf. Fotoset laminates, coats, die-cuts and finishes in-house in Kolkata, on the same site as the presses.
Photography, design and artwork, colour scanning, offset printing, lamination and silkscreen printing are all carried out in-house on one site. That single-vendor model is the reason exporters and overseas brands place this work with Fotoset: one purchase order, one plant accountable for the finished item, and no sheets travelling between sub-contractors.

What this item is
- The operations applied after printing: film lamination, coating, foil, embossing, die-cutting, creasing, folding, eyeletting, stitching and binding.
- Because finishing is on the same site as printing, sheets do not leave the building between operations and a colour or register problem is caught before it is laminated in.
Typical applications

- Matt and soft-touch surfaces on retail cartons and catalogue covers
- Foil and emboss on presentation and gift packaging
